Andrea Butler grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin where she attended
Logan High School until she graduated in 1994. After graduation, she
attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for a semester before
transferring to the University of Minnesota-Duluth in March of 1995. She
graduated from UMD in May of 1999 with a Teaching Mathematics major and
Teaching German and Coaching minors.
Mrs. Butler started teaching at Irondale in September of 1999. She
began her coaching career as an assistant girls distance track coach in the
spring of 2001.
She married Ted Butler in November of 2001. They live in Andover,
Minnesota with their crazy cat Wrigley, and the newest member of
their family, their son Kellen, who was born in June of 2005.
