Hi Everyone,
The last week of school is upon us! Here are a few things you need to know.
We are decorating T-shirts on Monday for track and field day. Hopefully the kids can bring in a new or old white shirt and we will color them with a team name and number.
Track and field day is Wednesday at the high school. Kids can just ride their normal buses to the high school. They will need a bag lunch that day, plus they should have some sunscreen and dress for the weather. Cross your fingers for good weather, but track and field would move to Thursday if we have stormy weather on Wednesday. Kids are welcome to go home with parents after track and field day, or ride a bus back to Lakeside.
Thursday is the last day of school. We will have a pizza party that day. I am asking each child to bring in $3 to help with the cost if they can. Awards ceremony will be at 1 pm in the gym with a Knowledge Bowl immediately following. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
It is not too late for a summer Math and Reading packet for your child. Let me know and I will send one home next week!
