Hello! This is my 21st year teaching at Lakeside School. I have taught
3rd and 5th grade in this district. One interesting fact is I attended
Lakeside School for grades 4th-6th grade.
My husband's name is Peter. We have 3 children, Annika who will be in 8th
grade at the Middle School, along with her younger brother Thomas who is 11
and in 6th grade. We have Haley who will be in Mrs. Ristow's 2nd grade
classroom.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor's of
Science in Elementary Education. I earned my Masters in Education from the
University of Minnesota.
I enjoy golfing, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family. We have no
pets because I am allergic to animals with hair. We live in Lindstrom,
close to the golf course and lake. I also love to be outside when the
weather is nice!
Our favorite thing from this summer was spending more time on the golf
course. My son Thomas easily beats me most rounds. I am getting better! It
may be soon, I may catch up to hitting the ball as far as him. We did go to
Cragun's Resort in Brainerd for our 7th year with the entire Overgaard Clan
including the Pauley family(Mrs. Pauley). The weather allowed us to get
outside more this year along with a 'floatilla' of a canoe, kayaks,
paddleboat, and a water bike!!
I look forward to working with each of you this year. We have a challenging
job preparing you for Middle School. With hard work and demonstrating
Lakeside PRIDE you will be ready for that transition next year!
