About The Teacher

I've been teaching for 26 years, starting my career on the Red Lake Indian
Reservation and Bemidji High School.  When I got married and moved closer to
civilization with my husband, Ron, I taught at Chaska High School for six
years and took a leave from there to start our family.  A few years after my
two sons, Nick and Marty, were born, I went back for a few more years to CHS
part-time, then eventually full-time, until I took a position at New Prague
High School eight years ago.  After seeing a few schools and many different
kinds of students, I am impressed with the quality of New Prague schools.

Mission For The Class

Students need to be able to read and write effectively to function
successfully, so I stress these two skills above all others.
