All students in grades K-8 are assessed three times each year to ensure that
the needs of all students are being met. 
Please refer to page 48 to view the assessments that take place at each
grade level and the student targets.

Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA) – any updates to the following will be posted
on the website.Students in grades 3-8 will take the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments in reading and math in the spring of each year. The following dates have been scheduled for the 2012-2013 school year:

*Science test is given in grades 5 and 8 only.

*Please make every attempt to ensure that your child is in attendance during these
important testing dates.

NWEA– NWEA tests are given in grades K-8 at least two times each year.
