Hi EVERYONE,
News from the Math Class:
We are beginning to use ROCKET MATH in the classroom. You have probably seen
some practice papers coming home.
The students are able to advance in their knowledge of basic facts at their
own speed.
We have adding from A-Z on sheets of paper. The student has 1 minute to
complete as many problems as they are able. If they get the amount completed
that they need to for the minute, they can advance to the next level.
Each student was tested on their speed for writing. SOOOOO, EACH student has
a number of problems they have to complete before they move up to the next
level.
We are moving up the rocket. If you have time, work at home with the basic
facts. I am sending some papers home with them.
