¡Bienvenidos! Welcome back to the new school year. I am looking forward to
teaching Spanish to grades K-2. I will help your children learn many things
about the Spanish language. Together we are learning to speak and comprehend
Spanish. Beginning in first grade, your student will start writing in
Spanish, as well. We will also learn quite a bit about Hispanic culture and
geography as we go through the school year.
I am very excited to teach English! This year we will work on effective
written communication, including cursive writing. We will do quite a bit of
writing in various forms, and will also improve our spelling, vocabulary, and
grammar.
This is my ninth year of teaching. I have a B.A. from the University of
Rochester (NY) in Linguistics and Brain and Cognitive Sciences. I also have
my Master's degree in Education from the College of St. Catherine.
