About The Teacher
I can hardly believe I am starting my sixth year of teaching. SIX YEARS! It feels like two. I am a native of Minnesota growing up in the Twin Cities. I received my degree from the College of Saint Catherine in 2004. After graduation I then taught third grade at IHM-St. Luke's School for two years. I received my Master's degree in Education this past spring (2009) from St. Mary's University. I am excited to be back for my fourth year here at Saint Ambrose and I am looking forward to another wonderful year in third grade. Miss Irmiter's Favorites: FOOD: Anything COLORS: green, pink DESSERT: Cookies and anything with chocolate MOVIE: Pirates of the Carribbean the Curse of the Black Pearl ANIMAL: dog STORES: Target, Half Price Books, Barnes and Noble, Macy's, Banana Republic, The Gap, Aveda, BOOKS: Favorite Kid's: The BFG (Roald Dahl), Charlotte's Web (E. B. White), The Harry Potter Series (J.K. Rowling) Favotire adult: too many to list (and always looking for new ones to add to my list) ACTIVITIES: going to movies, reading, volleyball, dancing, running, yoga, anything outside MOST FUN THING TO WEAR: shoes! MUSIC: pretty much any genre FLOWER: daisy NUMBER: 5 DESTINATION: a place with Sun, beach, and palm trees
