This is my 9th year of teaching first grade. I am a graduate of the
University of St. Thomas. At St. Thomas as an undergraduate I double
majored in Education and Sociology. I also completed my masters work in
education at St. Thomas. My graduate work focused on curriculum and
instruction with an emphsis on critical pedagogy.
I am proud to say that I grew up in Woodbury. My husband and I just
purchased our new home moving from Woodbury to Cottage Grove. I have a great
husband and we are blessed with two
children.
In my spare time I love to cook, spend time with my family, go new places
with my husband and sons, and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
I try to live by the philosophy of "Your talents are a gift from God, what
you do with your talents are your gift back to God." I believe my talent is
helping students to discover their own talent.
