Bedtime reading is a must!

Throughout the academic school year students will be given short emergent
reader books to take home.  They will usually be copied on white or colored
paper with the pages stapled together.  These books will be about topics 
being addressed in the classroom in various curriculum areas.

Your child may color or add illustrations to these readers.  He/she should
then read the book to a family member and then to himself/herself.  Your
child may wish to save these readers to read again and again.  A large shoe
box or other storage bin might be used to house the books so your child can
have easy access to them at any time.

THESE BOOKS DO NOT NEED TO BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL!
