I am so happy to be your child's teacher!
I have been a teacher in the Archdiocese of Minneapolis/Saint Paul for 20
years. For the last ten years I have been teaching fifth grade at St.
Ambrose. My dedication to Catholic education began when I was in grade
school and continued through my college education to my teaching career.
I earned my undergraduate degree at the College of St. Catherine, completed
my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of St. Thomas,
and am currently seeking certification in Gifted and Talented Education from
St. Thomas.
I am married and have two wonderful children, Luigi and Elizabeth. In my
free time I love to travel, read, cook, and visit friends and family.
Each year my greatest goal as a teacher is to spark students' minds and
hearts to gain new knowledge while growing in their love of God.
As I share on fifth grade information night: Success in education comes from
a child learning in a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment. All
children can, and will learn if they feel wanted, welcome, and their
educational needs are met.
