Homework will not be given on a regular basis. Your child should read each night and study spelling words. You could also encourage working on adding and subtracting through 10. If your child does not finish his work during the day, he may be asked to take it home to finish.Back to Top

No, your child should be walking to the classroom by himself. He will learn to put his belongings away, empty his backpack, and begin working right away.Back to Top
Do we celebrate birthdays in first grade?
We do celebrate birthdays. You are welcome to send a wrapped birthday treat if you wish. We will celebrate half birthdays for those who were lucky enough to be born in the summer.Back to Top
