CHURCH CHAT
In religion this week we continued to talk about saints and thanking God.
JUST THE FACTS
Fact families, story problems and adding and subtracting are still our
focus. We will be ready for our chapter test by Friday. Continue practicing
math facts through 12.
READING COUNTS
Weekly reading logs are due each Monday. The document can be found on
Teacherweb. You are welcome to print them weekly and have your child bring
the signed paper to school on Monday or you can send it via email. Your child
will receive a small reward at the end of the month if the Weekly Reading
Logs are turned in on time. Please note that this is not an optional
assignment and will go towards a reading grade.
PROBLEM PATROL
Rhyming words using the the word families -ind, -eam, and _ack were studied
this week. Learning and writing about cats opened up great discussions.
SNACK ATTACK
The children will have time each day to enjoy a snack and a little break.
Please send one healthy snack to school with your child each day.
CONFERENCES
Thank you for taking the time to visit during conferences this week. I
enjoyed talking to you and learning more about your child.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS
If you are interested in ordering books for Christmas, I would be glad to set
the books aside for you to pick up at your convenience. Please send an email
