CHURCH CHAT
We are learning to thank people for what they have done for us. We are also
remembering to thank God for the gifts He has given us. Saints are an
important part of our Catholic tradition. Ask your child about their
favorite saint.
JUST THE FACTS
Fact families, story problems and adding and subtracting are keeping us
busy! We have learned to play Around the World with math facts and are
having fun with that.
SNACK ATTACK
The children will have time each day to enjoy a snack and a little break.
Please send one healthy snack to school with your child each day.
READING COUNTS
Weekly reading logs are due each Monday. The document can be found on
Teacherweb. You are welcome to print them weekly and have your child bring
the signed paper to school on Monday or you can send it via email. Your child
will receive a small reward at the end of the month if the Weekly Reading
Logs are turned in on time. Please note that this is not an optional
assignment and will go towards a reading grade.
SPECIAL PROJECT
Please remember to send $6.25 for a special project we are working on.
REPORT CARDS AND CONFERENCES
Report cards and conference reminders will be coming home in your child's
Friday folder. I look forward to visiting with you regarding your child's
progress during conferences!
