CHURCH CHAT

Please join us for Mass in celebration of the Immaculate Conception on
Tuesday, December 8th at 1:30

JUST THE FACTS

In addition to memorizing addition and subtraction facts, we will begin
working on graphing.

READING COUNTS

Weekly reading logs are due each Monday. The document can be found on
Teacherweb. You are welcome to print them weekly and have your child bring
the signed paper to school on Monday or you can send it via email. Your child
will receive a small reward at the end of the month if the Weekly Reading
Logs are turned in on time. Please note that this is not an optional
assignment and will go towards a reading grade. Rewards for the month of
November can be found in your child's Friday folder.

PROBLEM PATROL

We are nearing the end of our book and will take a test on Friday. Along
with nouns and verbs, adjectives have been added to our writing this week.

SNACK ATTACK

The children will have time each day to enjoy a snack and a little break.
Please send one healthy snack to school with your child each day.

ADIOS AMIGO

We were sorry to have to say good to our friend, Nicolas, this week. We wish
him the best of luck at his new school!

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Book orders are due Friday, December 4th. If you are interested in having
books set aside to be used for Christmas gifts, send me a note and I'd be
glad to set the order aside for you to pick up.

LAS POSADAS PARTY

Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to help at the Las Posadas
party. If you are able to donate tissue paper, we could use some bright
colors.

NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY

Please remember that there is no school on Monday. The teachers will be
participating in their annual retreat. We are excited to have the time to
get together and increase our spiritual knowledge.

Have a great weekend!
