About The Teacher

This is my fourth year at St. Ambrose and my sixth year as a special 
education resource teacher.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Mild/Moderate 
disabilities from the University of San Francisco in May 2006.  In the summer 
of 2007, I was trained in the Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory reading method.  

I am originally from West Alton, Missouri, and went to the University of 
Missouri-Columbia for my undergraduate degree.  Go Tigers!  

I truly enjoy teaching.  Seeing my students improve their skills and succeed 
academically and socially brings me so much happiness.

Mission For The Class

This will be a safe environment where students can take risks and receive the 
reinforcement and skill development they need to become independently 
successful in the general education environment.
