Yes, for the full-day, year-round program there is a registration fee of $70 charged at the time of enrollment in the program. If your child takes time off in the summer, e.g. during a maternity leave, you must re-enroll and pay a new $70 registration fee. We cannot hold spots over the summer. Your child will be placed on a waiting list, and if space is available in the fall, your child will be enrolled at that time. The half-day school-year program has a registration fee of $70 charged each time at the time of contract renewals for the next school year. he Full Day Program (for infants - 5-year olds) accepts registrations year-round. Families may be placed on a waiting list if no openings are available at the time of registration. The main enrollment for the Half-Day, School-Year Program occurs in January during our Open House Registration Event. Families can register at times other than at the January Registration Event, as space is available. Will a hot lunch program be provided by the center? Yes, hot lunch is provided to those children in the full-day program and to the children in the Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-2:00 Half Day program. All children in the program receive a morning and afternoon snack and milk or juice. Are meals and formula provided for the infants in the program? Yes, infants are part of the same food program as the older children. We provide Similac and Isomil Formula. Along with Step 2 jar baby food and Rice/oatmeal cereal. Parents can choose to waive the use of the center's formula and food, but then they must provide their own formula and food. Does the center provide diapers, etc. for those children who need them No, each family must bring in diapers, wipes, ointment, etc., for their child as they are needed. All items must be labeled with child's first and last name. What are the ratios for the different age groups? Infants have a 4:1 ratio, pre-toddlers a 4:1 ratio, toddlers a 7:1 ratio, and preschoolers a 10:1 ratio. What is the vacation policy for ECEC families? Each family enrolled in the full day, year round program is allowed 1 week of vacation per year. This time must be taken in a one-week increment (not spread out)in order to get credit for the days. (One-week constitutes the number of days per week your child attends the center). Children cannot attend the center while vacation credit is being used. A two-week written notice is required for all vacation requests, as well. Are late fees assessed if I am not at the center at 6 p.m.? Yes, there will be a late fee schedule and all late fees, assessed per child, will be added to your bill if you are late picking up your child(ren). The late fee begins at 6:01 p.m. How do I make my tuition payment? Saint Ambrose of Woodbury Early Childhood Education Center uses an automatic withdrawal system for all families in the ECEC. Withdrawal occurs on the 2nd or the 18th of the month for half-day families and every other Wednesday for full-day families. Paperwork for this process will be included in your registration packets. There will be an added charge for any non-sufficient funds payments or late payments. Auto withdrawal is the only tuition payment system offered. Does the center have a leave of absence policy? The Early Childhood Education Center relies completely on the tuition funds, therefore, we need to operate at full capacity at all times. We do not offer any type of leave of absence benefit. Will the center be closed for holidays and staff in-service days? Yes, throughout the year there will be days that the center is closed due to holidays and staff in-service and training. There will be a finalized calendar included in the packet you receive when your child has been accepted and registered in the program. |
