This year's Junior High muscial will be "Annie jr.". The story takes place in an orphanage during the Depression-era with a little girl named Annie who is determined to find her parents. She was abandoned years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Through one adventure after the next she ends up befriending President Franklin Roosevelt and finding a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, and his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
This muscial has several stand-out featured roles, both singing and non-singing, and several strong leads for boys and girls. I'm looking forward to directing this play along with some of our St. Joseph teachers. I can tell already the excitment has started as you think a head of all the possibilities and fun we will have working together on this great show for the 7th and 8th graders. Let me know if you have any thoughts, ideas or questions!! Start praying now for the success of this show!!
