Welcome Students and Parents to my web page. I try my best to remember to
update it each day with new assignments, test dates, extra credit offerings,
and so on. Please bear with me when I occasionally forget to do it until
you're probably already in bed! Students, do remember though that this is
meant to be a backup - it is still your job to have your work written down
before you leave the classroom. I'm thrilled that there were over 17,000 hits
on my site during the 2007-08 school year.
I also encourage you to take a look at the variety of items you can
access on the different kinds of pages now available. On document pages, you
can download some handouts and study guides, to print at home. On the lesson
pages, you can download PowerPoint lessons students are getting at school.
I'd also like to suggest that you try the info below to access the science
textbook online. It is not intended to substitute for your book, but it's a
great back up if you ever leave yours at school, or have just a page or two to
read. Seventh grade will start the year with Life Science and eighth grade
will start with Earth Science. You should check to see if you can access the
books before you may actually need it.
PARENTS! Your student may have access to the entire Science text Student
Edition on line, by doing the following: (I can't make any guarantees due
to variability in computers, memory, Adobe Acrobat Reader availability, your
internet provider and so on.) Give it a try, see if it works, then you and
your student can work out the details of when, how often, and so on.
