Merry Christmas to all! I wish you all a blessed Christmas and New Year.

World Geography is slowly transitioning out of the Western Hemisphere. We recently had a test on South America and are wrapping up the unit. In the coming weeks, we will be starting work on our annual writing project. This year's focus will be Latin America. Students will have more information about the format of the paper after our Christmas break. The paper will be done in conjunction with the English Department.

US History has recently completed a unit that had a potpourri of topics including; immigration, inventions, education, labor strife, and business. Our upcoming unit focuses on Political reforms and the "Progressive movement". The upcoming chapter is also our annual podcast project where students design an episode that informs the audiences in a creative way about their topic. Students will use the program Garageband to develop the program. It should be interesting.
