Happy Holidays to you all.
It's the start of the second trimester and starting to look a bit wintery outside! It's an exciting time of
year as we prepare for the coming of our Lord at Christmas. His incarnation among us is the greatest
of gifts and we must be circumspect during Advent reflecting on it. Then, at Christmas, let the joyous
songs be sung and let God's love for us swell our hearts!
Preparing our hearts for the coming of Jesus can be a bit like preparing ourselves for receiving a good
report card at the end of the trimester. We know that we will be in for a grand celebration when the
time comes, but must ready ourselves to receive it. Academically, this means setting our minds to the
tasks at hand, and applying our best efforts to them. Your desire to do well is a great gift to give to
yourself!
Reach for the stars! You can do it.
