About The Teacher
Mr. Beaman has been the Art instructor at St. Joseph's School for 20 years. He is the Head of the Art Department and has developed an art curriculum to meet the needs of the Kindergarten through eighth grade students. Core Competencies: Curriculum Development & Instruction Developed Art curriculum for Kindergarten through eighth grade students. Curriculum introduces and develops processes of art through the study of drawing, painting, sculpture. Started Art/Technology program, dedicated to the integration of technology into the discipline of art. Created and lead Art Club for students to expand on their artistic abilities. Created digital art portfolios for student assessment Administration & Special Activities Served as teacher representative to School Board Participated in accreditation process for re-certification of school, in research of school history and document production Provided classroom training and evaluations as a mentor to student completing college requirements for an educational degree.

Mr. Beaman's art class is a developmental classroom designed to improve each students abilities. Students learn to enjoy art while learning about the practical use of learned skills.
