Dear Parents,
Our
class is participating in the Adopt-A-Family program this year. It is a great opportunity for the
students to learn about our Catholic Social Teachings, in this case the ‘Option
for the Poor.’
The
students are asked to bring in money or clothing and toys for a 3 year old girl
and a 2 year old boy. They are asking for pants, shirts/sweaters and pajamas in
size 4T for the little girl. She would also like books and learning toys. Her
brother needs sweatshirts, pants and footed pajamas in size 3T. He would also
like learning toys and trucks. If we all work together, and give what we can,
we’ll make it a wonderful Christmas for these children.
