When can a child attend school after a case of diarrhea or vomiting?

A child who has had diarrhea or vomiting should stay home for a minimum of 24
hours prior to coming back to school.

When can a child attend school after incurring a fever?

Any child with a fever of 99 degrees or higher must be fever free for 24 hours
prior to returning to school.

Pink Eye - Can my child go to school if on medication?

A child with pink eye will be sent home if that eye is crusty and itchy. If a
child is placed on medication by a doctor, at least one dose must be given to
the child prior to coming to school. The medication can be sent to school and
administered by the Health Paraprofessional for those times during the day.

Should I get a flu shot for my child?

It is recommended that children get the flu shot if they are at high risk for
serious complications of the flu such as: Heart Disease, Asthma, Diabetes,
Immune deficiency or Blood disorders.
