Starting school was fun. We don't have much homework. At recess I play on the swings, play games, and walk. We are learning about the Bible.

Our class has been learning how to use a compass to make circles. You take the anchor and set it in the middle of the paper. Then, put down the pencil and hold on to the handle and twirl it. I was helping other people draw their flower designs using a compass. We read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. On our Thinkmarks we wrote down things like connections or things we liked.

We had indoor recess on Friday, and I played "Apples to Apples." Molly's dog came to visit. We went to the public library for the first time. Mrs. Friedrich came and helped us make fidgets. I finished The Meanest Doll in the World. It was good.

On Friday we walked in the school five times because it was raining outside. Last week we got to sit on balls. I like sitting on them, they help me learn. On Friday we got ice cream sandwiches because it was the Marathon.
