Hello and welcome to my web page.
Just a little bit about myself,
I have been teaching at St. Wenceslaus since 1991 when I started the kindergarten
program. I've seen the program go from all day every other day with just one class to
all day every other day with two full classes to all day every day for everyone.
I graduated from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul with a BA degree in
Elementary Education (K-6) and mathematics. I also graduated from the College of St.
Catherine with an MA in Curriculum and Instruction.
I have five children, all of who graduated from St. Wenceslaus. My oldest daughter, Jessica, and
her
husband, Matt, and their daughter, Madeline, recently moved back to Minnesota from Ohio.
Matt is
working in Brooklyn Park and Jessica is currently a stay at home Mom. My son, Nick, is a site
engineer for Mortenson Contractors out of Denver, Colorado where
he also enjoys skiing and snowboarding. My son, Keith, is attending Metro State
University in Denver and is majoring in Recreation and Leisure. He was injured in Iraq
in 2003 and now is active in Adaptive Action Sports. My daughter, Alyssa, is a senior at
Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is majoring in International Relations and
Peace Studies and hopes to join the Peace Corp after graduating. And my daughter,
Melanie, will be attending Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. She hopes to major in
Occupational Therapy.
In my spare time I like to walk, read, play softball, and garden.
