| We are done with our weekly spelling tests!
This website provides some fun ways to practice spelling words:

Spelling tests are every Friday when there is a full week of school.
The students will be given a pretest on the words the week before the
test. If there are more than 2 mispelled words, the regular list should be
practiced for the test.
Those who get 0-2 wrong will have an alternative list, which will include
the mispelled words,
challenge words I give them, and words of their choice found in their
dictionaries or own writing. If
you notice commonly mispelled words at home, please share them with me so
they can be placed on
spelling lists if needed. Occassionally, all students will create thier own
list so that all feel
included in this opportunity. When individual lists are made, it is
important that the students make
me a copy of their words in order to be tested on them on Friday. They will
be paired up to give
each other the tests with supervision by me or another adult helping in the
room.
