I just completed my eleventh year of teaching, and I am loving my first year teaching
third grade! I have been at St. Wenceslaus School for three years, and I am so excited to be here!
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University
of Wisconsin at River Falls with minors in Mathematics and French. I earned my Master's Degree in
Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's Univeristy in 2005, and I received my license in Gifted and
Talented for the Mainstream Teacher in 2007.
The people who surround me are what make St. Wenceslaus School an outstanding place to work.
Teaching in a Catholic School enables me to work with others who share my faith and values. They
are able to support and challenge me as a professional while also doing God’s work that we are
called to do. The level of professionalism among all staff has made me proud to be part of it, and
the family-like atmosphere makes this an enjoyable place to spend my days. The amount of
classroom volunteers who help me is amazing, and the students are very respectful and caring of
one another.
One of my favorite things about working at St. Wenceslaus is that I get to see my sons Kyle (2nd) and
Jacob (K) throughout the day! My decision to teach at St. Wenceslaus had much to do with us
wanting our three boys to attend school here. We could quickly see that this school provides a top-
notch education while instilling the values that we believe in so strongly. This is the best place for
them, and I am fortunate to be walking the same halls as my own children. I am grateful that God
has led our family to this special place where so many make such a difference!
Our mission is to have fun learning together and living God's Word in an
exciting, safe, and respectful community environment. Our classroom is a
place where we are all able to be challenged and feel success.
