About The Teacher

I was born and raised in Florida and received a BA in elementary education at
the University of South Florida. I have been teaching for 26 years and during
this time I have taught in Florida, Alaska, and, of course, Minnesota.  My
experience has been in grades 1 through 5.  This is my tenth year teaching 2nd
grade at St. Wenc, and I really LOVE working with the children and parents of
this school.

Outside of school, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our two children.
We have a 24 year old daughter who is married and works at Kids' Hair in
Minnetonka.  I am also a step grandmother to her 11 year old stepdaughter.  We
have a 20 year old son who works at Sam's Club in Savage.

My husband and I also enjoy going on weekend motorcycle trips and riding
around in our golf cart and 4-wheelers around our house.
