Here is a note from Ann Christy, one of our 6th grade teachers. 
 
Hello all, 
The 6th graders in my Social Justice Projects elective (and I) will be making/baking oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with Mary Wick next week.  The cookies will be for sale to all students/staff on Wednesday, Dec 9.  Cost = $.50/cookie.  100% of the proceeds will benefit the Peace Center.  
Rather than trying to sell cookies at a table somewhere before school starts, I think it would be best if each homeroom teacher collected the money from their students on Monday/Tuesday (preorders) and sent it to us in Rm 9.  Then my elective kids will deliver the cookies to your room after Mass on Wed.  We will limit the sale to one cookie/student for starters.

The Dec. newsletter, calendar and volunteer calendar have been updated and placed on the web page.  Also, I have added more words to the 2nd and 3rd trimester high frequency words.  So please check those out.  Thanks!

On Wednesday, November 25, the kindergartner's and preschoolers are having a Thanksgiving celebration so there is no need to send a snack that day.  They will be having fry bread and popcorn for their snack.  Thanks!
