Friday, November 16. This is 1st trimester Jeans Day for Common Hope, an out-of-uniform day for
those who wish to participate. A minimum donation of $1 allows students to dress out-of-uniform, jr
high kids in PJ bottoms and/or a hat. Money raised will go toward sponsorship of Geissel, our godchild
from Guatemala.
Tuesday, November 20. The 8th graders are busy raising money for thier trip to DC. Students K-8 may
purchase a $1.00 bag of Puppy Chow from the 8th graders for snack today.
Wednesday, November 21. Our Eucharistic celebration will be in Thanksgiving for all that we have been
blessed with. Students are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food or personal hygiene items
that day. Items will be carried up and collected during Offertory for donation to the Peace Center.
Wednesday, November 21. This is the deadline for all $ contributions toward the 7th graders' adopted
family (LeSueur County Adopt-a-Family.) Kendra Collier's family has volunteered to do the shopping.
Our adopted family has 3 children. Each has asked for a winter jacket, a pair of jeans, and a pair of
tennis shoes.
Thursday, November 22. Happy Thanksgiving! I pray the day leaves you with a keen awareness of all
that God has blessed you with.
Thursday, November 29. It's picture retake day.
Friday, November 30. No school for the students. It's an end of trimester workshop day for teachers.
