Each of you will have a seperate role in the process of researching, then
together you will write one 3 paragraph recommendation.
Take these steps to complete the task:
1) Designate Roles: One to research evidence for Prohibition, the other
against.
2) Go to your respective Role pages and explore the websites provided.
3) Compile a list of arguments that support your role. Also write down
specific facts, quotes and other evidence to help you write your
recommendation. Take your time exploring the websites, many offer
photographs which will give you a better understanding of what life was like
under prohibition. There are also a number of photos on the Photo/Grading
Rubric Page of this webquest.
4) Converse with your partner about what you have found. Then together
decide on what your recommendation will be.
5) Together, write your recommendation. You must use Historical evidence,
not just recent statistics!!! Please refer to the Rubric on the
Photo/Grading Rubric page to see how your final product will be graded.
