You are a member of the New York Police Department, the Patrolmen's
Benevolent Association, and the Fraternal Order of Police. As a police
officer, you are personally offended by Bruce Springsteen's song,
"American Skin." You think he has no right to criticize police officers who
put their lives in danger everyday to keep crime off the streets. He has
no idea what it is like for a police officer to be put in a confusing and
dangerous situation and be forced to make a to make a difficult decision
without having time to think. You support a boycott of Springsteen
because, although the four officers who shot Diallo may have made a
mistake, they were just doing there jobs. |
