About The Teacher

  I have taught 30 years and have taught every grade. I graduated from St. 
Cloud State University in 1978 with an Elem. Ed. major and an Art minor. I 
have my Master of Arts in Education from Saint Mary's University of MN.
  I especially enjoy working with 5th. or 6th. graders.  They are so much 
fun!  
  I have a husband named Bill who is the City Manager in Granite Falls. We 
have two sons. David is 27 years old and Brian is 24 years old.
 
  I enjoy gardening and reading.  I also like to cook.  I collect rocks, I 
have collected rocks since 5th. grade.  Involve yourself in Science. It was 
my favorite subject in school.  I also enjoy anything that has to do with 
art, so our class will do a lot of art projects. I will be teaching American History to
all of the 5th graders this year.
  
 I love to travel, especially to the Atlantic ocean in Florida. I want to 
live by the ocean someday.  I also love to go shopping at my favorite place, 
The Mall of America!

I want all of my students to love school and to be kind to each other. I 
look forward to my new class in the fall.
