Hi again!  Secret Santa started out great!  They are having fun with it!  What a fun and exciting week.  Next week we will be packing boxes for our soldiers for Christmas.  If anyone still wants to contribute, there is still time before this first packing session.  Thanks much.  I hope you are enjoying this time with your kids and that they don't have too much homework right now.

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for the help on the memory work for the Christmas service.  They sure are doing an outstanding job!
On Monday, Secret Santa starts.  Please double check to make sure you child puts the item (50 cent item) in their backpack.  Everyone looks forward to that little treat!
Also, it has come to my attention that some kids think they need to buy a gift for the person they drew for Secret Santa.  That is not correct. Boys should buy a gift for a boy; girls should buy a gift for a girl.  They will not know which gift will be theirs until our Christmas party.  That gift does not have to be here until Friday, December 18th.
That's the fun stuff!  Now for the homework part...Animal reports for science are due on Monday!  Actually, that might be kind of fun too!
