4th grade FLASH

Dear Parents,

I hope you are all enjoying your classroom cookbooks that finally came home last week.  Those recipes were truly awesome!  Hopefully you will have time to look through it more over the next few weeks.
Well, the verdict is in.  After a very difficult vote, the class has decided to purchase a goat and 2 chickens for my Christmas present!  (The sheep came in second place.)  Thank you all for being so generous.  It is truly amazing to be a part of your lives this year.  Each year I tell myself that my new class just couldn't be better than the previous, but each year the Lord continues to bless me with wonderful students and parents.  Thank you for allowing me to be such an important part of your child's Christian life.  I am very honored and humbled to be a part of it.   May you all be blessed with time so that you can enjoy these awesome children as much as I do.  Have a very, merry Christmas!

In Christ's love,

Mrs. Zoellner

Starting in October, the students will be responsible for reporting on 1 book each month.  The book must be one they have not previously read, and it must be from the genre listed for the month.  If your child is unsure if their book fits the genre, please have them show it to me.

I have listed many different options for your child to share his or her book with the class.  The projects chosen should vary from month to month.  Each student may choose from the list above.  Any other ideas should be cleared with me first.  My hope is that your child finds a way to share a book that is unique to him or her.  I encourage everyone to be creative and have fun!
