Dear Parents,
The students are excited for our break, but before we go, we have a few things to finish up. Please ask your child if they are done with their writing project. Some students were struggling with finding memory sticks and stories. If you get the chance, please read the story with them. Make sure everything makes sense and they have a finished copy to read to the class tomorrow. If you do not have a working printer, the students may print one in the morining. However, please try not to rely on school due to the limited time they have on the computer.
Reminder to all that there will be pizza for hot lunch tomorrow.
The day will be fun for all of us as we get the chance to review the events of Jesus's birthday. I am looking forward to celebrating it with the class. May you enjoy celebrating it with your families. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
In Christ's love,
Mrs. Zoellner

Starting in October, the students will be responsible for reporting on 1 book each month. The book must be one they have not previously read, and it must be from the genre listed for the month. If your child is unsure if their book fits the genre, please have them show it to me.
I have listed many different options for your child to share his or her book with the class. The projects chosen should vary from month to month. Each student may choose from the list above. Any other ideas should be cleared with me first. My hope is that your child finds a way to share a book that is unique to him or her. I encourage everyone to be creative and have fun!
