About The Teacher
This is my 14th year teaching at Carl Junction Intermediate as a 4th Grade Teacher. I love teaching!!! I enjoy all the things we learn about in 4th grade like; Rocks & Minerals, Oregon Trail, Pony Express, Electricity, Native Americans in Missouri, Ecosystems, The Civil War & more. I grew up & attended school in Springfield, all my extended family still lives there now. I graduated from MSU in 1996 with my Bacholor's Degree in Education & received my Master's Degree in Education in 2000. I've been married to David, my high school sweetheart for 17 years. He is the Senior Manager of Substation Maintenance at Empire District. We have two sons;Dason who is 12 years old & a 6th grader at CJ & Cruz who is our 21 month old. My family & I really enjoy traveling. We love taking road trips or going camping as a family. We also like to get together with our friends from church to play games or go out to eat. When I'm not working on school or church related things, I love to take pictures, play with my kids & go shopping. :)
