Hello, everyone! Well, we aren't quite finished with MAP testing yet, but we 
are finished with the Communication Arts portion. The kids worked really hard 
to prepare for this test and I am really proud of their effort on and their 
attitudes about the test!
Please remember that we do not have school this Friday or Monday! The kids 
get a four day weekend! 
As we leave this week and testing, we are going to be heading into our last 
few weeks of school! I can't believe that it has gone so fast. We only have 
three units left, and they are typically the kid's favorites! We are starting 
with the commercials unit, in which we teach the kids how to spot different 
types of propaganda in advertising. Once we finish with that, the kids work 
in teams to create a commercial of their own! I will share more information 
with you about this soon (I planned on uploading the PowerPoint with all the 
commercials unit to my webpage, but we are having some "technical 
difficulties" that I need to get ironed out first, so look for that to come 
soon!)
I really enjoy teaching this unit and I am looking forward to the kids
