<div style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;" align="left"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The children will carefully read Scholastic books, from our library or from home, and earn points on computer-based tests.  Although we want to earn a lot of points, the main goal should be a high percentage of correct answers.  Correct answers will indicate better reading comprehension.  </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The class will have a chance to earn rewards for their hard work.  <br />

</span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Beginning in September, ask your child about <span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Rhymes 'n' Times<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">.  He/she should be able to tell you several rules and tricks for multiplication.  Ask your child to show you how they use their hands to multiply by nine.  This approach to learning multiplication is very entertaining.  <br />
