Each evening your child will bring home a "Homework Folder." The folder will
have two sets of papers. The papers on the LEFT side are to be "left" at
home. The papers on the RIGHT side are to be looked at and/or completed and
then returned. Newsletters and other classroom information will be sent in
the folders so please be sure to look through it.
The right side of the "Homework Folder" will most likely have a Reading Log,
a Daily Comment Sheet, and homework (generally on Monday, Tuesday and
Thursday).
Reading Log- Your child is responsible for reading at least one book
per week and recording it on his/her log. I will be checking the Reading
Log on Friday for completion of this.
Daily Comment Sheet- This is a quick way for you to see how your
child's day was (nothing means it was fine) and communicate with me if
needed. I also will use this to communicate with you if needed. Please
initial the sheet daily.
Homework- The homework that will be coming home will primarily from
our new math series, Everyday Mathematics. It is due the next day.
