Earning Your Way
Back Into the Classroom.
If a student's behavior
has escalated to the point of being sent home, the student must earn the right
to return to his/her classroom.
A student must work
backwards from the office,
the recovery room,
to another safe place
classroom,
to their classroom's
safe place.
At each location they
must be able to identify how they were hurtful or disruptive,
make a plan of what
they can do differently next time,
and demonstrate the
appropriate classroom behaviors.
