About The Teacher

Hello, 
I am so excited to be your third grade teacher!  This is my seventh year of
teaching.  I live in Chillicothe with my husband, Darren, my daughter, Chloe,
and my dog, Irie.

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State
University in Springfield, and I went on to get my Master's Degree in
Elementary Administration from William Woods University (I may become a
principal some day!)  This year I have been selected as a member of the
Northwest Missouri Teacher's Academy where I will have the opportunity to
learn new classroom strategies and meet with other educators in an effort to
create the best educational environment possible for students.

I enjoy spending time with my family, teaching, reading, and gardening.  Some
interesting facts about me are: I have two brothers, one older, one younger.
I taught fifth grade for four years.  My favorite sport to play is basketball.
I got married on a beach. I am left handed. I could think of nothing I'd
rather do than teach!
