What a fun weekend! My kids had a great time trick or treating with their
grandparents on Saturday night. I hope you all had a great time as well.
Thank you to all the wonderful parents and grandparents who helped with the
Fall Fest Party on Friday. It was great!
We have an early out on Friday at 12:10.
We will be taking a field trip to Kansas City on Friday, November 13th. I
sent home a permission slip last week. Please fill out the permission slip
and lunch information for that day and return it by WEDNESDAY of this week.
Your child will not be allowed to go without your permission. We will be
back before school it out so the kids will follow their regular after school
routine.
If your child has been offered after school tutoring and you have not
returned the permission slip please do so ASAP. Tutoring starts Tuesday.
We will continue to have reading logs from now until further notice. If your
child does not fill in the log they will need to use their lunch recess to do
their log. This is also true for any homework they do not complete. The
school year is advancing quickly and we are learning at a rapid pace, I want
to make sure the kids are acquiring all the skills taught so doing homework
is essential as continued practice of all skills.
We will be starting multiplication this week in math. I will send home
practice sheets on regular math nights, at times, instead of homework.
Please sign the sheet so that I know you studied with the kids.
