Goals for Life #1
I can take good care of myself, even if I am mad or have an overwhelming feeling.
We all have times when we feel angry or overwhelmed. It is normal. As adults we have learned ways to manage these feelings. Our job as adults is to teach students strategies to cope with their overwhelming feelings in a respectful and productive way.

Dear Parents,
Wow! Wasn’t that a terrific play the children performed for you before our Thanksgiving vacation? Each and everyone did an excellent job of memorizing their lines and saying it loud enough for everyone to hear. I am so proud of my students. Thank you for coming to the play. I think that was the biggest gathering I have ever seen for a classroom play. Thanks you again for coming.
We will be going to the Grand 6 for a movie before the holidays starts. This is instead of a gift exchange. All the children are expected to pay $5 to see the movie. The movie has not been picked yet, but will be very soon. You can start sending your money as soon as possible.
This week we have been working on persuasive writing, characters and setting of a story, line segments, and polygons, regrouping addition, needs and wants, and our body in science. We are also finding time to do some fun things.
Don’t forget that next Friday, December 11, is an early out. We will be dismissing at 12:10.
I will be sending book orders off next Friday, December 11, for the month of January. I hope to have them returned by Christmas vacation.
Our Christmas Party will be on Tuesday, December 22 at 8:30 in the morning. I will be contact those parents who signed up to send goodies for the party.
Have a safe, warm, and happy weekend. I’ll be waiting for my honeys on Monday.
