Why are we meeting in the computer lab this semster?

Because technology is such an integral part of today's classroom teacher's
life, teachers in the education department felt that we needed a course that
prepared you for this new method of teaching. This class meshes social
studies and technology.

How many tests will we have this semester?

None! Your grade will be based on projects, activities, web pages, and your
Junior Achievement performance.

Is there an attendance policy in place?

Absolutely! Absences and tardiness will adversely affect your final grade:
one percentage point will be subtracted for each absence after the first
two; two tardies will equal one absence.

STUDENTS WHO MISS MORE THAN 6 CLASS PERIODS MUST REPEAT THE COURSE.
