We will have the test covering chapter four on Tues. and Wed. I gave the students the test review on Fri. so that they could begin working on it and get any help they need from me in class on Mon.
The students did very well on our test covering the first half of the chapter on polynomials. The material becomes more difficult as we progress through the chapter. We will not have a test this week. Our test will be the week on Dec. 14 - 18. Please encourage the students to see me during AR or before school if they need extra help. It is very difficult to catch up if they have missed important concepts.
We have completed the round two test for the Catholic Math League Competition. Congratulations to our round two winners. They will also be part of our Holy Infant team: Kyle Husak (23), Kelsey Gima (22), Michael Owens (22), and Emily Schueppert (22). There is a Chapter Review and Chapter Test after each chapter that would be helpful in preparing for a test. There are also "extra practice" problems in the back of the text book.
I am able to email the smartboard files that I use to teach in class as a PDF file. If you feel they would be helpful.
I am at school most mornings by 7:00 a.m. If the students are "stuck" on a few homework problems, I would be glad to help them then.
