December 14, 2009

Dear Parents,

Your children and I are anxiously awaiting our Kindergarten Christmas
Music Program that will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at
9:30 a.m. in Rosario Hall. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are
welcomed to attend. Mrs. Nealon, the Kindergarten teachers, and
your children have been working very diligently to make this special
Christmas performance a success. Please make sure that your child
wears some type of white top (sweater, blouse, sweatshirt) and blue
jeans on that day.

There will be an early dismissal day on December 15, 2009. The
parking lot will close at 1:00 p.m. on that day.

Show and Tell will take place on Friday, December 18, 2009. Please
have your child bring in an object that is associated with the
Christmas holiday. Remember, it can be an object, a personal photo
or picture taken from the Internet. Your child must give three clues
to help us guess what is hidden inside the bag.

A great big thank you for the money that has been given to our special
Christmas project to St. Pius V for people who are not as fortunate as
us during this holiday season.

As always, thank you so much for giving your child an opportunity to
contribute to the Missions within our classroom. It makes me very
happy to see the children take pride in supporting the Missions.

The Clifford presentations have been enjoyed by everyone in our class,
including me. Thank you for allowing Clifford to be a member of your
family for a weekend!

Please check with your child to see if he or she is in need of more
pencils, crayons, glue sticks or coloring book. If possible, please
have your child purchase a larger size glue stick as the glue seems to
stay on the stick better and not fall off so easily after a couple of
uses for art projects. Some of the children are in need of these school
supplies as some have been broken or they are too small to use for their
school work.

May all of you have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Thank you! - Mrs. Church
