HERE'S OUR WEEK - DEC. 14 -DEC. 18, 2009
Thank you to Mrs. Nebot for doing the special Christmas art project with us. It was fun.
Congratulations to the children in the Chorale for being part of a beautiful and inspiring musical program. I hope you got to see it.
Advent is always a busy time. Our special saint for December is St. Juan Diego, who reminds us that in God's eyes, we are all his loved children, equally important and worthy of respect. Our model is Mary, the Blessed Mother, who was the first person to prepare for the coming of Jesus, and to welcome Him.
This week we will have a lot of academic work to complete before the holidays. This will help to keep us calm and focused, and to remember that we are only half-way through Advent. It is important to celebrate each of the seasons of the Church, because each one is special.
