Special Note:  Thank you to the parents who joined us on our field trip to Powell Symphony Hall.  The trip was both fun and educational.  I hope the students shared with you the wonderful experience they had.  We even had deaf children sitting in front of us at the symphony who had the music signed.  This was an amazing coincidence since we just read "Moses Goes to the Symphony", a story about a class who were deaf and attended a symphony.  They learned that they could become anything they wanted to be when they met a deaf percussionist.
    
     Please help your child earn money to buy chili for the poor.  That makes it a student's sacrifice and a worthwhile learning experience.
    
     Please remember that Advent starts on Sunday, November 29th.

    
      We will have very little work that this week.  If your child has not completed the November book report, this would be a good time to finish it.  The report is due on Monday, November 30th.  Also, please check to see that your child is halfway to the AR goal.
