Dear Parents/guardians,

      As you have heard, I am retiring after 21 years at Holy Infant School and 28 years in the Archdiocese of St. Louis.  I can truly say that I have enjoyed the opportunity to teach in the Catholic schools, interacting daily with teachers, parents, and students.  I have appreciated the support of administration, teachers, and parents over these years.  Also, my husband is a principal in the Archdiocese of St. Louis who is leaving after 41 years of dedicated service.  It is only after great prayer and reflection that my husband and I have made this decision to retire.
     As many of you know, my two daughters, son-in-law, and two granddaughters live in Fort Myers, Florida.  My husband and I miss them greatly and now feel that it is time to join them in Florida.  We sold our home in April and recently purchased a house in Florida.  Although I am thrilled to be with my family in Florida, it is very difficult to leave St. Louis where our extended family and friends reside.  Please pray for us as we make this transition from work to retirement, Missouri to Florida, and old house to new.  
     I wish to thank the administration, teachers, parents, and students for the lovely liturgy and generous check.  It has been a delight to teach at Holy Infant School because of you.  Please continue to support Catholic education.  I firmly believe that we do make a difference in forming lives.  Catholic education has been a strong choice for my husband and I, both in our careers and our daughters' education.  We are proud of our family and know that Catholic education has blessed our lives.
